Does the Virginia Dance Coalition Offer Workshops and Seminars for Members?

The Virginia Dance Coalition (VADC) is a professional jazz dance company that produces energetic and enjoyable programs with a focus on artistic excellence and broad contemporary variety. The Coalition provides many of the necessary trainings, some of which can be completed online, and are available to employees of agencies that are active members of the Coalition. The VADC is open to all dance organizations and individuals interested in supporting and promoting the dance arts. The Northern Virginia Joint Training Coalition (NVJTC) is a collaboration of dance organizations, dance educators, professional dancers, and choreographers.

It offers mandatory and ongoing training to develop and support a well-trained workforce that serves people with disabilities, as well as others served by the Northern Virginia regional network. NVJTC represents agencies and programs authorized by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) that provide services to people with intellectual disabilities, mental illnesses, or substance use disorders throughout the region. If you are a member of the Virginia Dance Coalition, you may be eligible to attend workshops or seminars provided by the Northern Virginia Joint Training Coalition. These workshops and seminars offer enriching training for the Northern Virginia region through a coordinated coalition that is devoted to developing and supporting a well-trained workforce.
