The Northern Virginia Coalition of Dance and Wellness (NVCWDA) provides a range of experiential workshops that last between 1.5 and 3 hours. These workshops are open to people living with dementia, care partners, volunteers, family members, concerned people, advocates, activists, and anyone else interested. At the beginning of each workshop, the NVCWDA typically offers a line dance for half an hour and a couple dance for half an hour. In addition to in-person workshops, the NVCWDA also offers online classes and resources for those who are unable to attend in-person workshops.
These online classes are designed to provide the same level of experiential learning as the in-person workshops. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who have a deep understanding of the topics they are teaching. The online classes cover a wide range of topics related to dance and wellness, such as physical health, mental health, emotional health, social health, and spiritual health. The classes also focus on developing skills such as communication, problem-solving, and self-awareness.
The NVCWDA also provides online resources such as videos, articles, and podcasts that provide information about dance and wellness. These resources can be used to supplement the online classes or as standalone learning materials. The NVCWDA is committed to providing quality online classes and resources that help people learn about dance and wellness in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are looking for an in-person workshop or an online class or resource, the NVCWDA has something for everyone.
With its wide range of experiential workshops and online classes and resources, the NVCWDA is dedicated to helping people learn about dance and wellness.
